Teenage Bottlerocket-They Came From the Shadows

Everyone has their own ideals of what punk either means to them or was meant to be in its initial stages (or even what it means now). Whether it be danger, rebellion, money, politics; its all in the perspective of the beholder (or belistener, to create a new word). Teenage Bottlerocket bring a huge hunk of fun to the punk rock genre. The songs are light and poppy but still featuring an edge so they don't sound soft.

Listening to They Came From the Shadows reminds me of Boogadaboogadaboogada era Screeching Weasel, only more together and a bit more modern sounding. Influences from The Ramones and The Queers are evident, only adding to the strength of their sound. This is an album that screams good times and will have you singing along in no time.
